Brittas Bay is a long sandy sheltered beach. The area is designated as a proposed Special Area of Conservation (SAC). It is an area of ecological importance and habitats of interest include sand dunes, fens and grassland areas. The landscape is dominated by the dunes which cover approximately 100 hectares.

Brittas Bay can be accessed by travelling north on the N11 from Arklow and taking the right hand turn at Jack White's Cross Roads.

This beach is lifeguard patrolled during the bathing season. Lifeguard times can be viewed by clicking on the tab above or by checking out the information notice board at the beach.
