This is a sandy beach located on the northern coast of  Inishmore Island. This whole area is rich in habitats. Several rare plant species listed in the Red Data Book are present here and the birdlife is considered of international significance.

The beach is lifeguard patrolled during the bathing season. Lifeguard times can be viewed by clicking on the tab above or by checking out the information notice board at the beach.
